Why this matters for privacy

Many sites cannot be used without a banner because they set cookies before you make a choice. We removed that problem by not setting cookies in the first place. That means there is nothing to consent to, nothing to withdraw, and no cookie list to audit. If we ever change this approach, we would update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Managing the local flag

Blocking local storage entirely does not break the site; the notice simply behaves as though it has not been dismissed. We do not use local storage for anything else, and we do not read it for any other purpose.
